Over the last year, we’ve talked a lot about the pledge we made to obtain third-party validated Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) on all InterfaceFLOR products by 2012. This pledge did more than simply highlight our personal commitment to transparency; it also challenged us to push forward and raise sustainability standards across the industry.
Overthrow the Status Quo
Next week at the 2011 Greenbuild Expo, we’ll bring this commitment to life with our in-show concept The Complete Picture. To learn how EPDs provide a complete picture of environmental impact, join us at Greenbuild booth # 823N from October 4 - 7, or follow us from home, right here on the InterfaceFLOR blog, Twitter and Facebook.
Here is an early look at some of the great content we’ve got planned for the coming weeks:
- The Complete Picture - Learn how The Complete Picture changes everything, and how you can join the movement to create greater transparency across the industry through EPDs.
- Polling on Facebook - Overthrowing the status quo will require some frank conversation about how we all approach environmental reporting. Tune into the InterfaceFLOR Facebook Fan Page for the latest updates from Greenbuild and the opportunity to tell InterfaceFLOR how transparent reporting impacts your work.
- Ray Anderson - We take a look back at the life and accomplishments of Ray C. Anderson, our beloved founder and chairman.
- Exclusive Greenbuild Content - Can’t make it to Greenbuild this year? Don’t worry we have you covered. InterfaceFLOR will be covering the show on Twitter, Facebook and of course, right here on the InterfaceFLOR blog. Get updates from the InterfaceFLOR booth as they happen, even if you cannot attend the show.
- Questions to Ask - Find out the top 5 questions to ask manufacturers about the environmental impact of their products, and get started in our industry-wide movement for greater transparency.
